Welcome to Westlands School

Welcome to Westlands School. If you are reading this message on our website, I would strongly advise you to come and visit us so that you can see for yourself what a great school we have. Westlands School is based on a tradition of success in terms of high achievement, a caring approach to our students, and in providing opportunities for all. Whatever your background, learning needs, gifts and talents, we believe we can offer all students a chance to do well, both with regard to their learning and in preparation for adulthood. As a large school we have facilities to appeal to students who are academic, creative, and practical. There really is something for everybody. Find out more here.

  • 24-04-2017 - Cars on School Site

Please can we remind parents/carers that to keep all our children safe on school site, we kindly request that when dropping off and collecting your children at the start and end of the school day, you please arrange to meet them away from school site and not drive onto the school grounds.  Both Wickes and Gore Court Cricket Ground have ample car parks that could be used for this purpose.

    Thank you for your co-operation.

  • 21-04-2017 - Allergy Season 2017

    Dear Parent/Carer

Spring and summer allergy season has begun and we are aware that some pupils may need medication such as antihistamines. The expectation is that pupils will self-medicate, supported by parents by medicating before school.  If your son or daughter is likely to need medication during the school day please ensure they have this with them and encourage them to be independent.

If you have any questions contact Mrs Fazakerley and Miss Dewberry.
