Parent Forum
Through our Parent Forum, Westlands school aspires to reach out and engage with all parents and carers, providing them with a voice and to actively contribute to making a difference to the educational and life experience of students. The Parent Forum itself is a body of parents and carers who are representative of all parents and carers who form a part of the Westlands School community. It provides an inclusive and accessible way to involve parents and carers in decisions about our school.
Parents and carers value not only educational achievement at the School, but the commitment to a positive ethos and the provision of a range of activities and opportunities beyond the formal curriculum. Involvement in the Parent Forum is an opportunity to generate a culture of genuine participation, meeting termly, the forum aims to present opportunities through which parents and carers can be consulted, learn more about what we do here at Westlands and how they can be involved in it. The Parent Forum further seeks to provide parents and carers with information and opportunity to network with other parents and carers as they provide us their valuable insight into parental views and experiences and communicate their understanding of the provision and support we offer to students here at Westlands.
