All pupils are welcome. 

To help our new Year 7 students adapt to life at Westlands School, our transition days will provide your son / daughter with an authentic experience of life at Westlands. They will follow a typical Year 7 timetable, and meet a lot of the key staff who will work with them next year.  The transition days also give our new pupils the opportunity to practise their journey to school, familiarise themselves with the school layout, try out some of our extra curricular activities and, most importantly, make new friends. 

This year, our transition week runs from Monday 13th July to Thursday 16th July. 

We understand these dates coincide with some primary school’s Year 6 Leaver’s events, and we have developed a flexible approach which will ensure your child can experience both of these important events. If you have any questions about the details of Year 6 Leaver’s events, you should contact your child’s current primary school.
