At Westlands School, our ambitious and enriching education prepares every student for a successful future. We combine academic excellence—including a dedicated Grammar Stream for our most able students—with unique, hands-on experiences. Our consistently strong Progress 8 scores show that students make excellent progress, no matter their starting point.

Our facilities are a blend of traditional spaces and modern developments, including a new Maths block and a new building for our on-site school farm.

At the heart of our school is a strong pastoral system, where every student is supported by a dedicated Year Group Team. This approach creates a friendly and supportive environment where students are valued for who they are and can build strong connections with their community.

 

Pupils know they can share any worries with staff in their ‘communities’. They are confident they will be listened to and they value the support given by pastoral staff.
