Dance is a very popular activity at Westlands. Every year pupils present a Dance show which is an extravaganza of light, music and of course dance. There are over 100 pupils involved ranging from year 7 to the sixth form, and it is open to everyone who wants to be a part of the fun. Lunch time and after school clubs run throughout the year and pupils benefit form learning a range of dance styles from salsa to street!

Dance also plays an important role in the annual school production and therefore pupils are given the opportunity to combine their acting, singing and dancing skills together. The school also offers a full curriculum in dance as all pupils study dance as part of PE at key stage three and can choose GCSE and A Level dance as part of their options.
