Welcome to the web-site of the Norman Learning Community. I am delighted to be the Community Principal and work with such a great team of pupils and staff. Over the past couple of years, we have worked hard to establish an ethos within the community and develop relationships with our pupils and their families.

Being a Learning Community is about ensuring that each person feels a sense of belonging and is cared for.  We support our pupils in many interesting ways, including uniform, friendship, behavioural and emotional problems. We are also there to ensure each pupil fulfils their learning potential to help them progress through their school careers.

Our community includes the parents / carers of our pupils, my community leadership team, pastoral support managers and of course the pupils themselves.  The tutor groups are a focal point of our community and we have tremendously talented and dedicated team of form tutors to support the pupils.  Each tutor group is arranged vertically, so that there are pupils from different year groups in each one to share experience and knowledge.

I hope that this web-site showcases many of the exciting aspects of our community and that it keeps you informed about what is happening in the Norman Community.

Finally, my thanks are extended to Miss Moss and her group of pupils who have taken the time and trouble to put this web-site together.

 Mr Golding (Principal)
